Sad Day

With great sadness and affection, we had to put our beloved Pekingnese (Chelsey) down today.  She has been sick for some time and has not been able to eat for almost two weeks now.  What a very hard thing to do.  She has been with us 14 years and part of the family.   RIP old friend.  We love you. We will miss you terribly.

  1. January seems be the most depressing month for many of my patients. Post-holiday letdown, failed New Year's resolutions, short days, long nights, bad weather, and holiday credit card bills lead to low-level winter depression or the more severe condition, seasonal affective disorder. I recommend vitamin D supplements to all of my patients. In addition to giving you the health benefits you're missing from lack of sunlight, there's some evidence that depression is linked to vitamin D deficiencies.
